GBIC comments on ZuFinG II published

The German Banking Industry Committee comments on the draft of the Second Future Financing Act (ZuFinG II). We fundamentally welcome the aim of strengthening the financial center and the initial steps that have been introduced by this proposal. However, in our view, there is a lack of further-reaching measures to generate a noticeable effect for the financial center. Therefore, in addition to commenting on the legislative proposals, you will also find further-reaching positions in the statement, in particular on the “AGB amendment mechanism” and on an urgent tax law issue.
