On 14 December 2023, the European Banking Authority (EBA) published a consultation on an ITS. It details step one of amendments to the Commission Implementing Regulation 2021/451 on supervisory reporting based on new disclosure requirements from CRR III. The ITS thus specifies disclosure requirements pursuant to CRR III that were originally based on Basel Committee requirements. Additional amendments will take place at a later date during 2024. The German Banking Industry Committee (GBIC) has published a variety of suggested amendments to the draft disclosure templates: more detail is available in their published comments.
